(Bridge Ministry)
Nursery We want to welcome your baby to a clean, safe, loving place, while you attend Sunday services, adult classes, or Wednesday night programs. The Nursery is in Room 108 and is divided into two parts: one for Infants (birth-1 year), the other for Walkers (1-2 years old). In order to protect children, the Nursery leadership has the highest standards to ensure the health and safety of the infants.
More information can be found in our "Nursery Pamphlet" available in the nursery, or by contacting the Nursery Director, Shannon Craycraft through the church office (949-586- 6850).
Sunday School (Toddlers-6th Grade)
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
Ephesians 6:10-12
The children today are, and will continue to be, challenged more than you or I have ever been. As Parents, as Teachers, and as the church body, we have the unique privilege and responsibility to equip them with foundational truths that will enable them to stand firm in the power, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ. This is the goal of the Sunday School program.
Curriculum
Toddlers-Kindergarten: Our Sunday School curriculum for the younger children is provided by Great Commission Publications. We have found this to be an excellent curriculum that is intentional in teaching the whole councel of God. Along with this curriculum is taught the "First Catechisms," a simple question and answer format that brings clarification and simplicity to biblical truths.
Elementary: Our Sunday school curriculum for elementary aged children is Children Desiring God by John Piper’s Desiring God ministries. We have found this curriculum to be Christ centered, focusing on the historical plan of redemption by showing who God is and how he has chosen to work in history. Along with this curriculum is taught the "First Catechisms," a simple question-and-answer format that brings clarification and simplicity to biblical truths.
The children in each of these programs are unconditionally loved and their spiritual nurturing is of highest importance. It is our goal to teach them sound biblical truths and to help them see scripture with a redemptive historical perspective. To aid in this process we encourage all children to bring their own Bible each week to Sunday school. We do not underestimate the children in their capacity to understand Scripture through the power of the Holy Spirit.
To God be the glory.
