No, at CCP we utilize the Abeka phonics-based curriculum for each age and stage of preschool. Each classroom will prepare the students for the next age classroom. Our goal is to fully prepare each student socially, academically, and developmentally to enter Kindergarten when age appropriate.
Teachers will assess 2-3 times each school year. The 4 and 5 year old classrooms will have parent conferences in January to discuss child’s progress.
Students are required to be 2 years and 6 months by September 1. Students at this age should be potty trained or in the process of potty training.

Yes, CCP is a Christ-centered preschool. We are a ministry of Christ Community Church. (See curriculum list). Teachers will teach from Genesis to Revelation in the Bible. The teachers will also teach them the Attributes of God and Catechisms. Each month the teachers will focus on a fruit of the spirit, Galatians 5:22-23. At chapel, one student from each class will receive an award for that month based on the characteristics the teachers see in the children. Parents are invited to chapel always, but especially encouraged to come when their child is receiving an award.
