At Christ Community Church we love children and include them as valuable members of the body of Christ now; they are not the “church of the future”. We intend to partner with parents in making disciples of Jesus. Our Children’s Ministry does not exist to replace the biblical role of parents, but rather aid in supplementing the God-given responsibility parents have to train up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4, Deut. 6:6-7). In an effort to equip parents in their biblical roles, we have a Parent Resource Table with recommended resources for both parents and kids, on a variety of topics including: family worship, parenting, prayer, catechism, theology, anger, anxiety, and more. The Parent Resource Table is located upstairs near the K-6th grade classrooms.
On Sundays, we use the Gospel Project for Kids which is a theologically sound curriculum that walks kids through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and communicates the “big picture” themes of Scripture: God Rules. We Sinned. God Provided. Jesus Gives. We Respond. This curriculum provides a solid foundation upon which kids can build their understanding of the truth of God’s Word. Our prayer is that kids would see the beauty of God and savor the supremacy of His character so their joy may be complete in knowing and living for Him.
Child safety is a priority at CCC. All families will be greeted by our check-in team at the Children’s Check-In Station in the palm court. At check-in, new families visiting for the first time, will be asked to provide some basic information about parent and child. You will then be given your child’s name tag as well as a parent claim tag. You must keep the parent claim tag with you and show it to your child’s teacher upon check-out to ensure a safe and proper check-out.

All group worship includes prayer, singing, offering, a Bible verse game, and discussing a big picture question. The 4-6th grade class is then dismissed and the K-3rd grades watch an animated video of the Bible story before going back to their individual classes to talk about and engage with the lesson.
Mommy and Me
Moms with littles are invited to join us for the Mommy and Me Ministry! The first Monday of each month, we have a special ‘Mom’s Day’, where we meet at church, provide free childcare for the littles, and enjoy breakfast, a short devotional, uninterrupted fellowship and a time of prayer for the mommas. On the second, third, and fourth Mondays, we meet at various local parks at 10 am. This is a great time for moms to encourage one another while letting the little ones get some energy out. It’s a relaxed time of fellowship and fun. For more information or to get involved, please contact Hannah Cedeno or Erin Tonissen.
