It might be helpful to download our Family Handbook. Within these pages you will find the rules of our school, an explanation of the services we offer, and our expectations for the early childhood education for your child. You will also find specific directions for implementing any of the procedures necessary for your involvement in our school. We hope you will find this information useful.

Openings are based on current enrollment in our developmentally age appropriate classrooms. Individual classroom enrollment can change during the course of a year, or a classroom registration can remain constant. Please call the Preschool Office at (949) 586-5030 to check if there are openings for your child.

No. Curriculum at CCP includes a biblically centered, developmentally appropriate approach of learning, where the activities are teacher-directed. Experiences offered to young children support and enrich their development physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and cognitively. CCP uses Zoo-phonics and ABC Jesus Loves Me, as guides for planning the curriculum in each of its program rooms.

Each classroom has weekly lesson plans, posted in the classroom. These plans contain a number of activities designed to foster each child’s development. Lesson plans are changed in order to accommodate the children’s changing interests.

Children who are 2 years of age and in the process of potty training can be accepted. In the event your child is still transitioning, we will partnership with you during this developmental stage. We do ask that you provide all diapers, wipes, and an extra set of clothes in their bucket.

Tours of the Preschool are offered Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. No appointment is necessary, however, if you wish to be given a guided tour and meet the teacher an appointment is suggested. If you are late picking up your child there will be an automatic Late Fee that will be applied to your account.

We provide each day a morning snack for your child that meets state guidelines. A snack calendar is provided at the beginning of each month as well as it is posted and shared via Himama. Parents should provide an afternoon snack for children in daycare.

It is the responsibility of the family to provide a nutritious lunch for your child. We ask that their lunch is provided in a lunch box as well as a good well-rounded lunch.

For health/safety reasons, the following items should not be included in your child’s lunch:

  • Beverages in glass or aluminum cans
  • Containers with pull-top lids
  • Candy
  • Any choking hazard
  • Sharp objects- such as toothpicks or plastic knifes

Yes, A Bible lesson and prayer time are in the daily schedule, prayer before meals, monthly Bible verses, Bible story books, we meet twice a month for a special all school chapel with all classes. Parents are always invited and welcome to attend.
