The Christ Community Church 2018 Men’s Conference theme is Transformed – Men transformed by God’s Word to impact the world. During the conference on Friday night, October 5 and Saturday morning, October 6, we will examine the lives of four Christian men who were transformed by God’s Word and used by God to impact the world in their day.
The “transformed men” that will be the focus of our four teaching sessions include famous theologians, pillars of the Christian church, and a modern-day guy you’ve never heard of. We’ll look at the lives of the following men and how their responses to the Gospel apply to us today.
- St. Augustine – an ancient Church father
- John Huss – a Reformer burned at the stake for his faith
- R.C. Sproul – teacher and founder of Ligonier Ministries
- Milton – barber, wrestler, and preacher
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All men are invited to attend the Transformed Conference. The event is open to anyone in the community regardless of whether you are a member or regular attender of Christ Community Church. High school students are also encouraged to attend either with a relative or with a friend.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Transformed Conference is a great place for the men of Christ Community Church, our neighbors, friends, and family members to come and learn the truth of God’s Word, enjoy good food, have some fun, and build relationships with other men. We designed the conference around the realities of your schedules. The event will kick-off with a gourmet hamburger dinner on Friday night, include a solid breakfast on Saturday morning, and wrap up with lunch later that day.
